Perfect example of not so old formation in 1987, modern Goa boasts of foundations laid by Vasco Da Gama, who broke the Arab Monopoly of trade and established strong Portuguese foundations. Even though Goa continued to be ruled by Portuguese after Indian independence, goa exhibited strong evidence of people power, eventually voting India for its new multinational beginning!
